Appearance: Quistis has pale-blonde hair, swept up into a clip at the back for convenience, although wisps of bangs brush along her shoulders in the front, falling around sky-blue eyes. Dressed in a pink, zipped up vest, left undone at the bottom to expose her smooth stomach, a maroon, long sleeved undershirt, and a knee-length, pink skirt over black pants and black, leather boots, her slender form is clearly accented. She’s tall, standing at 5’6”, and she is thin, although this does not deter from the strength she has developed while in Garden. She has pale skin, and her attractive appearance has actually gained her a small fan club in Garden, known as the “Trepies” (although this club is exasperating, in her personal opinion).

Personality: Quistis is levelheaded, calm and collected in appearance, but beneath her cool exterior, she has difficultly overcoming frustration and a lack of confidence in herself. For this reason, she becomes easily upset over very trivial matters, and can slip into a state of depression that has more than once led to troubles during her SeeD career. Despite her strength and renown, she is modest, and treats others with a respect befitting of how they treat her. As an instructor, she is patient, although easily forced over the edge if one knows just which buttons to push to do so (as some of her more sardonic students have learned). She has a strong sense for order and law – she follows every rule set by Balamb Garden to the last detail, and because of this, some think of her as too strict in her policies.

Abilities/Weaponry: As a member of SeeD, she has full comprehension of how to wield magic and Guardian Forces. Her specialized weapon is a metal whip with a blade fastened onto the end for swift and effective attacks. She specializes in a type of magic known as blue magic, which gives her the ability to learn the techniques of the enemies she faces in battle and use them for her own purposes.

Weaknesses: Her insecurities and lack of self-confidence can easily get the better of her. Pessimistic, concerned too much about others’ opinions. She can easily find herself depressed over nothing at all, and is afraid of losing those dear to her and of failing.

History: She doesn’t remember her childhood more than the GF allow her – she was raised in an orphanage, 'adopted' at the age of seven, and entered Balamb Garden at the age of ten. She received SeeD ranking at the age of fifteen, right when the status was available to her, and she became an instructor at the Garden when she turned seventeen, and has been teaching students since, some older than her, some younger. Mysterious disappearances in her world, some occurring in her home, Balamb Garden, led her to investigate the situation under orders of Headmaster Cid Kramer, and she found herself in this strange world, at a place named Vanaheim, with no recollection of how she arrived, or what happened immediately before her entrance.
